Perfect Mood Board

Ask yourself what it is that you really want

Aren’t you tired of “should’s” and “must have’s” and are willing to embrace your natural beauty instead?

Are you ready for a journey back to the roots, to who you really are?

Are you ready to sit in front of this mirror?

With your natural colors and shapes you are a perfect mood board of the Nature. You really do not have to “camouflage”, “compensate” or “create illusion” in order to fit the most current ideal of beauty. Not every rule and trend is equally good for everyone. Personal Color Analysis is here to help you understand what truly works for YOU.

What if it wasn’t that difficult?

Personal Color Analysis (PCA) is a process of measuring of your natural coloring. With carefully selected set of drapes a trained analyst identifies colors that are already present in your pigmentation. These colors are translated into a palette that, when repeated in clothing and makeup, harmonizes with you in the most beautiful way.

Let me show you how

I am a certified color analyst of the 12 Blueprints – system which uses Sci\ART method and color palettes. With its neutral gray analysis environment, full spectrum lighting and standardized draping sequence, I consider it to be the most accurate and modern PCA system. Book your PCA consultation in my calendar to see what it can do for you.

History of Personal Color Analysis

Even though the idea of finding the most flattering colors is more than 100 years old, it was the 1980s when PCA boom happened. A few systems categorizing human coloring into 4 groups, called Seasons, became popular. Those Seasons were: Winter (cool, saturated colors), Spring (warm, light and sunny), Summer (cool, softer colors) and Autumn (warm, with darker, golden base). Skin complexion, eye and hair color, facial features and even personality were taken into account to determine a Season.

4 Seasons was not enough. Not many people clearly fell into these 4 categories – most of us have an eye color typical for one of the Seasons and skin tone for another. In 2000s a new system taking these variations into account emerged and 4 became 12. Not only the new Sci\ART system introduced Neutral Seasons, but also a more accurate approach to color analysis. As a combination of science and art, Sci\ART was founded on human perception of color and Munsell color system, based on three dimensions: hue, value and chroma. In addition, skin tone (undertone) became the primary factor in the PCA process.

How does this process work? What are the prerequisites? What are the benefits it brings? You will find answers to these questions in the next posts.
