I am happy you found your color home and feel confident in you color choices now. It is so easy to second guess the result and get swayed by Seasonal stereotypes, internet noise and opinions of armchair experts in Facebook groups. Thank you for reading PMB!

Thank you Anna!

It has taken me little more than a year to really enjoy it, but it makes shopping so easy that I no longer feel sad to stay away from warm colors, just happy that I know what works :-) Color analysis is very transformative.

I found your content through the Color Chrysalis podcast and I love to read your blog. I am grateful you shared your experience!

Hello Dana,
It sounds like we have a lot in common in terms of both outer appearance and reaction to colors.
Most people consider colors in line with traditional approach to warm and cool, i.e. yellows and reds being warm, while blues and greens cool. With that, it might be challenging to perceive a color with yellow content as cool. In case of Winters, the apparent warmth comes with for example that yellow which is present in olive skin or red in hair tones. One of the reasons why we do not tell a Season just by looking at a person - testing color reactions is key.
Enjoy your color palette!

Hi, I was typed as a very cool winter in Denmark by a highly experienced (30+ years) professional. The thing is I have warm hair (chestnut/auburn-brown) and a orangy freckly tan, even the color analysis was surprised. Most people on Reddit vehemently refuse my coolness, but truly I am extremely cool, else I look like a lemon. I saw your post and related strongly. I think our skin tones might be similar, very cool undertone with a seemingly warm 'overtone'? Effectively it means I look warm in many cool colors, but in a good way, without sallowness. My palette leans extremely cool, deep (or icy) and clear. The only colors I can wear mid range are clear cool blues and pinks.
